The Northern Kentucky Forum is a collaboration of NKU's Scripps Howard Center for Civic Engagement, the Boone County Public Library, the Campbell County Public Library, the Kenton County Public Library and LINK NKY. The Forum's purpose is to foster civil, civic dialogue on topics of community interest.

July Café - Housing Vulnerability in Our Neighborhoods: A Look at the Housing Crisis from the Ground Up

Join the Northern Kentucky Forum as we host a panel of experts to talk about the state of housing in the Northern Kentucky region, focusing on how the housing crisis directly affects NKY residents. We will also be showing clips of interviews that Boone Co. Library staff have been conducting with unhoused individuals in the area. Panelists include Ed McLaughlin (BCPL) and Jenny Wiley (Brighton Center), with more to be confirmed closer to the event.

September Café - What's on Your Shelf?: Challenges and Opportunities for Building Library Collections

Location: Behringer Crawford Museum


Join the NKY Forum as we highlight our partner libraries and the work they do to create their collections. We will have a panel of library staff to talk about the challenges and opportunities they face when choosing books to add to the library’s collection. Panelists will be announced closer to the event. September is National Library Card Sign Up month! Make sure to get a library card if you don’t already have one!

The Street Project - Film Screening and Panel Discussion

Location: NKU Griffin Hall Digitorium

Join the Northern Kentucky Forum as we host a discussion on infrastructure, surrounding the film "The Street Project". "The Street Project" follows the community-led fight to make roads safer for pedestrians and cyclists.
If you cannot join us for the film viewing but still want to join us for the panel discussion, we will send a link to the film for you to watch before you attend.

Parking is included and panelists will be announced closer to the event.
