Financial Aid for CINSAM Camps
Full and partial scholarships for CINSAM Camps and Academies, provided by Ashland, are available for low-income students who meet the requirements for the Free or Reduced Lunch Programs in Kentucky & Ohio or if the family has extenuating circumstances. If you are requesting a scholarship to cover the cost of your child’s summer camp, please provide proof of free or reduced lunch status (a letter signed by the school or district) or if no proof of lunch status, you can provide similar document providing proof of extenuating circumstance, household income, and number of dependents to be considered. If you are a homeschool family in need of assistance, you can provide similar documentation such as proof of SNAP/WIC/EBT benefits, etc.

* You MUST PROVIDE the information requested below to be considered for a scholarship. Without an attached letter for Free or Reduced lunch status or   some document providing proof of financial need, your scholarship request will likely be denied. Please provide the documents requested.

* Even if a scholarship is granted, there is a $25 processing fee, which will be collected at the time of this registration.

* You will be contacted by camp staff to let you know whether or not a scholarship has been granted.
* If you are not approved for a scholarship, you will be contacted to collect the remaining camp fees and/or to cancel your registration.
* Note - At this time, scholarships are only available for CINSAM sponsored camps and academies.

NKU staff cannot administer medication (prescription or over-the-counter) unless a form is completed and signed. Photos/Video

Students may be photographed or recorded during the camp. These images/videos may be used in Northern Kentucky University marketing, publications and/or presentations. Does Northern Kentucky University have permission for this student's photograph and/or video footage to be so used? By selecting yes, you hereby release Northern Kentucky University and its legal representatives for all claims and liability relating to said images, and waive your right to any compensation for the imagery.

Surveys

Students may be surveyed before, during, and after the camp. The surveys will question student knowledge and attitudes especially related to the topics offered in the camp. The completely anonymous results of these surveys may be used in professional publications, grant applications, Northern Kentucky University publications, and/or presentations. - Note that you should select camps based on RISING Grade (fall 2025) There are NO exceptions to grade levels. Only the grades listed for each camp will be accepted.

- If the camp you desire is no longer listed, then the registration deadline for that camp has passed. Deadlines for registration are 4 weeks before each camp begins.

Supervised Lunch Options

If your student in attending two half day camps, we will have a supervised lunch between the two camps. Please select the lunch option below in relation to the camps for which you signed up your child. There is a fee for each week of supervised lunches

Supervised Lunch: June 2-6 - For students enrolled in both Makers in the Middle and Laser Light Spectacular.
This is the supervised hour between the two camps from Noon-1 p.m. Students are expected to bring their own lunches and drinks each day.
Supervised Lunch: June 9-13 - For students enrolled in both Elementary Engineers & Coders and Creators
This is the supervised hour between the two camps from Noon-1 p.m. Students are expected to bring their own lunches and drinks each day.
Supervised Lunch: July 21-25 - For students enrolled in both Robots to the Rescue & Science of Superpowers OR Science of the Human Body & Spike Prime Robotics
This is the supervised hour between the two camps from Noon-1 p.m. Students are expected to bring their own lunches and drinks each day.
Extended Camp for Early Drop Off and Late Pick Up (Optional)

Camps offer extended camp time for those who may need an earlier drop off time and/or later pick up time. There is a fee for both options.
Extended care is optional. If not selected, students are expected to arrive at the camp start time and be picked up by the scheduled end time.

Note - You must pay the extended fees for EACH WEEK of Camp for which you registered and the fees are due for each week in which you are registered.
Example: If you registered for a camp from June 9-13 and another camp from June 23-27 and need Pre-Camp Early Drop off both weeks, then select "2" under Pre-Camp ($35 per week). If you need Late Pick Up for both weeks, select "2" under Post-Camp as well.

Pre-Camp Early Drop Off and Post-Camp Late Pick Up are NOT Available for the CINSAM's The Art of Nature Exploration Camp.

Students can stay in a supervised enivornment as late as 5:30 p.m. after their camp ends.
Note - CINSAM and Camp Norse Camps end at 4 p.m. The Informatics Film Camp ends at 3 p.m., so the fee is slightly higher for that extended time.

Terms and Conditions
CINSAM CAMPS & ACADEMIES: Full refund minus a $25 non-refundable processing fee (per camp) until 4 week before camp begins. Cancellations after this time are non-refundable. Please check the start dates for each camp, as cancelation window will vary. CAMP NORSE: If a participant cancels before the standard registration date (two weeks before the start of the program), they will receive a refund less the 10% non-refundable registration fee. Cancellations after the standard registration date are nonrefundable. INFORMATICS FILM CAMP: Full refund minus a $30 non-refundable processing fee (per camp) until 4 week before camp begins. Cancellations after this time are non-refundable. Please check the start dates for each camp, as cancelation window will vary.
