Black Cinema Celebration

Northern Kentucky University’s History Department, Black Studies program and the College of Education is hosting a Black Cinema Celebration for Black History month.


The keynote speaker will be film and media mogul Olivia Charmaine Morris. Morris has worked with Netflix, Nickelodeon, Sesame Street, Disney and Dreamworks. Morris now heads an organization she founded entitled Black Monarch Entertainment. See a link to her bio here. The keynote address will take place in the Math, Education and Psychology building, lecture hall at Northern Kentucky University.


The event is open to the NKU student body and general public.
