Abstract
In the “attack of the purple uni-squirrels”, we will be exploring how security is changing in the new modern world in a highly regulated business like banking. Where does cyber engineering and architecture evolve to. Connecting business controls to security requirements and ultimately into automation. Our every evolving industry coupled with the change in/ decreasing availability of our workforce demands a revolution in how we work. Thus begins the journey of the purple uni-squirrels. Where automation is KING and security isn’t just requirements but something that protects through destruction.
Biography
Experienced senior leader of technology organizations and initiatives. I have 15+ years of leadership experience delivering value for GE, one of the most respected companies in the world for its leadership development and business innovation. I have experience delivering value through Engineering, IT, quality (Lean Six Sigma), software development and cloud in the Aviation, Transportation, Energy, and Oil & Gas industries. I am continuing to grow my skills and take on difficult challenges in I.T.
My passion is to build a strong team within my organization and across the company to take on challenges on new technologies like cloud or drive tough challenges to success by using through strategy and building a team that can deliver. I've spent a significant part of my career building team around tough challenges like ITIL, Network operations, Cloud, Agile, ERP, software development, and enterprise architecture.
