Abstract
The security alert is the center of cyber operations. All things either affect the creation of the alert or drive action from an alert. The ability to quickly understand an alert, understand how the alert was created & why, disposition the alert, and ultimately learn from alerts is the game. Automate the ordinary, iterate quickly, and always increase coverage while remembering that the people are the key to success. Easy right?
Biography
Brian has 20 years of experience in IT, and 12 years of security experience within the intelligence, detection, and response disciplines. He has been part of creating new operations teams, building custom systems, and creating processes for cyber security operations.
